A brilliant golden wine, clear and appealing in the glass. The nose is complex and layered, with notes of apple, pear and a hint of ripe citrus. As the wine opens up, aromas from the ageing process emerge: vanilla, honey, nuts and a subtle liqueur-like note. Full and silky on entry, with good acidity. A long finish, with persistent salinity and minerality, and an elegance that invites another sip.
